Tau Signals at the Tevatron for Gauge Mediated Supersymmetry Breaking

We consider the phenomenology of GMSB models where the lighter stau is the next to lightest supersymmetric particle. In this situation, the dominant signals for supersymmetry are events with two or three high pT τ leptons accompanied by large missing transverse energy. We find that the inclusive two τ -jets signature could be observable at the Tevatron’s Run II, while the inclusive three τ -jets signature could be important at Run III. Typeset using REVTEX
